From Jacek Pazera :Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter is a freeware application which converts iPod/PSP movies (MP4, M4V, and MP4V) to AVI or MPEG. The application allows you to set many parameters used by encoder: audio and video codec, audio and video bitrate, fps, sampling frequency, resolution, and other. The Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter interface is very simple and user-friendly. To convert video files, just drag & drop them into main window and click on the Convert button.

Pros: After the zip extract was able to convert the MP4 with ease
Cons: None found yet, it is a free program so not a flashy as pay programs but works nice so far.
Summary: Read one review that download didn't work since it was a zip file. Mine extracted fine and the program worked fine. It is a free program so does not come with extensive help or graphics. So far have not found any bugs to cause me to remove it fro... read more >>

Pros: Just needed something to convert a few MP4's into AVI to watch on my DVD player. works very well, straight forward and a few presets to choose from which seem to do the trick.
Cons: Would be nice to have more CODEC choices... I have a few newer DivX codecs installed on my systembut am only able to choose the old one that's defaulted in the program.
Summary: Would recommend for people like myself who just want to convert a video to be used on their home DVD player that plays DivX/XviD.

"A simple, easy, elegant program"
Pros: Downloaded, unzipped, and converted two large MP4 videos to AVI in a very short period of time with flawless results. My wholehearted thanks to Pazera for a superb program
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

"Downloaded as a zip file. Could not open."
Pros: No pros, I don't like it.
Cons: Have to get software to open zip file. Not worth my time when other software is available out there.
