From Jacek Pazera :Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter is a freeware application which converts iPod/PSP movies (MP4, M4V, and MP4V) to AVI or MPEG. The application allows you to set many parameters used by encoder: audio and video codec, audio and video bitrate, fps, sampling frequency, resolution, and other. The Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter interface is very simple and user-friendly. To convert video files, just drag & drop them into main window and click on the Convert button.

"Works as advertised. No surprises."
Pros: Simple operation. Easy to figure out.
Cons: So many other programs out there that do this. It is hard to differentiate them from the crowd.
Summary: Simple, light-weight program with a very specific niche.

"In the process of using it for the first time right now"
Pros: The number of options available to the new user is impressive. The default settings appear to at least start the conversion process (I'm writing this as it's converting a 1.5 GB mp4).
Cons: I don't know yet. If I come across anything worth mentioning, I'll post an update.

Pros: From what I saw, its an easy on the eye looking program.
Cons: It didnt work for me in converting simple MP4 files that I had. It kept telling me that it couldnt be done. Maybe Im missing something but it didnt do what I wanted it to do in the first place.
