Although this password generator is free, it fails to offer enough functionality to make it worth the price. Password Creator's compact main interface has so few functions that they take up only the left side of the tiny window. The right is given over to large graphic that serves no purpose.
Password Creator offers few options. Although you can select numbers or letters, the two aren't mixed randomly. You have only the choice of placing numbers at the beginning or end, or not including them at all. The only other option sets the number of letters or digits. The giant Make Password button is hard to miss. One click and your new password appears below.
Password Creator only spits out letters in word combinations. Passwords such as FULL1168 may be easy to remember, but it isn't very secure. You can switch to the Random Password Creator, but that option invokes the tedious process of setting up to 16 pull-down menus to choose Letter, Number, or None to generate a mixed alpha-numeric password.
The default process is easy, but the results aren't impressive. We suggest you try some of the many other password generators. We think you'll find Password Creator is easily beaten by the competition.
If you are tired of trying to be unique creating new passwords, then you need Password Creator. Randomly create a new password by choosing the length of the word, additional numbers, and ordering. Click one button and you have a random password created using one of thousands of common words from a database. Or, if you want a truly unique password, set up a number/character formula and set the size and create a new 100% random password. It takes only seconds to create a password and does not require you to type the password, thus protecting it even better.
