Publisher's description
From Vista Software :PalmComm is an application that allows you to browse the Internet with your Palm Pilot. Unlike Web Clipping that comes with the Palm, it is not limited to just certain small sites. It is able to go to ANY web page, and will usually download the graphics as well. In addition to that, you have the option of downloading the raw HTML code, which is very similar to right clicking on a web page and selecting 'View Source.' Very few (if any) Palm browsers have this capability. "PalmComm requires a wireless modem such as a Palm VII or a Palm V with an Omnisky modem. We have gotten lots of complaints from people who try to get PalmComm to work on their old Palm III's. If you did not have any Internet access before you installed PalmComm, you won't be able to magically get on the Internet after installing. You need to have a wireless modem to access the Internet.
What's new in this version:
- PalmComm now supports bookmarks! You can save up to 8 different websites under titles of your choosing.
