This program checks for e-mails in the in-box of the POP3 account you specify, but it does not demonstrate the set-and-forget nature of others in this class. With POP3 Preview Lite, configuring your e-mail account information is easy. However, unlike similar applications, POP3 Preview Lite does not automatically or regularly check your e-mail. Once you click the Check button, the program will retrieve mail headers of the e-mails in your in-box, giving you a quick look at what's waiting for you. The functional interface makes it easy to quickly check, delete, and read e-mail. It even includes a rudimentary anti-spam tool. If you have several mails in your in-box, it will take a while for the application to display information as it pulls in every message. You can only configure one e-mail account during the trial. Nonetheless, POP3 Preview Lite is easy to use and works just fine.
