From PIMEX Group :PIMEX MailExpress is a free bulk e-mail software that gives you a powerful and efficient way to reach your customers and contacts. Each message can be personalized using a simple text or HTML template, so all addressees will receive letters intended for them only. Messages can be previewed and edited before they are sent out. Every e-mail job can be interrupted and restarted at any time. If there are any delivery failures, the program will resend messages simply with one mouse click. The program imports lists of e-mail addresses with optional parameters in text or CSV format, and requires a SMTP Server. If message personalization is not required, BCC method will substantially increase mailing throughput.
Version 4.02 includes updated help and documentation.

Version: PIMEX MailExpress 4.02
"Does not play well with other "cleaning" software."
Pros: Easy to use. Advanced edition has nice additions such as attachments.
Cons: According to PIMEX support some cleaning softwares erase the registration code for the advanced edition. If you want to send attachments you have to re-enter it every time.
Summary: Good software just has the one annpoying quirk I have found so far.

"Does mass mailings with great ease and function"
Pros: Lets me use HTML coding and come up with very nice mailings. It allows multiple variable fields, allowing personalized notes. Very simple to use (short learning curve) Very low price for full product. Most people can get by on the free version.
Cons: Does not automatically archive messages
Summary: I maintain a lot of mailing lists for various non-profits, ranging from 3000 down to single digit counts. This program lets me generate notes that look completely personal with very little effort. It validates domains and has a preview function. ... read more >>

"Exactly what I was looking for!"
Pros: Lots and lots of emails sent one by one.
No marketing, no virus, no links, no money, no catch.Cons: No attachments, and the pictures have to be linked to a host site.
Free version 'only' allows you to send 200 emails at the time.Summary: This software does the job without without asking for any credibility at all.
Great for those that have to send newsletters though emails. -

Pros: It' s fine, it works for my daughter on Bellsouth
Cons: I cannot make it work with windstream.net, I called the provider, went through all the Pimex instructions, and still it does not WORK FOR ME
