Create PDF with options: (1) Optimize PDF output for screen, print, e-book and prepress; (2) Add PDF information such as title, author, subject, keywords; (3) Secure PDF with password in 40/128 bit and permissions; (4) Add view preferences to open page layout, display mode, hide Toolbar, hide MenuBar, hide WindowsUI, fit or center window; (5) Set page display duration, type and duration of the transition effect when you present a PDF document; (6) Rotate PDF page by 90/180/270 degree or crop page with margins; (7) After the PDF creation, you can open, E-mail PDF; You can merge or combine multiple PDF files into one PDF file; Split, extract, reorder or delete PDF pages from a PDF file into a new file; Reformat multiple pages into one page for handout; Add headers and footers to present information, such as date, time, page numbers, or the title of the document; Add Stamp using stylized text and image.

Create Image with options: PNG/JPG/BMP/GIF/TIF, color/gray/mono format, resolution, quality, page number format, antialiasing alpha bits for text or graphics, rotate by 90/180/270, flip horizontally or vertically. Output options: Use default folder and default file name; Use the print job name; Hide the save-as dialog; Replace, append or prepend the existing PDF file; Append time stamp onto file name. An add-in PDF button inside Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is added to save PDF or Image with one click. You can set all the options in the registry keys programmatically.

Pros
Just downloaded and started using it but it looks to be a great product. Faster than other PDF writers I've used and it is compatible with Win 10. Lots of features I don't know about yet so perhaps I will get more utilization from it.

non that I can see so far other than I'm having a tough time removing the PDF writer from Office that I installed incorrectly

PDFill PDF Editor is an amazing free PDF Editing solution. You can't argue with the $0 price tag and the ease of use. Within a few minutes I was able to convert the scanned PDF document into a fully fillable and interactive PDF Form. My clients can save the new PDF using the free Adobe Reader DC or PDFill Free PDF Editor! With many more free features I'm positive that PDFill will have solutions to my PDF needs as they arise. Thanks to PDFill, our customers can place online or fax orders w/o sloppy handwriting.

Won't install on a clean Win7Pro system. Nada. Zilch. Nothing. Immediately crashes after launching the installation .exe file.

Used to be my favorite program for creating and editing PDF's for years
Cons
Gives a lot of mistakes reading PDF's on the net. Doesn't print pdf's it opened from the net well to the printer Can't install without Yahoo or Bing. Hate them both. It's my computer to decide what I use. Can't remove Yahoo without removing PDFill.

Easy to use, common sense buttons, many conversion to/from options.
Cons
Unless its changed recently, when you try to arrange documents to merge, you can only see five or so file names at a time. If you click on one lower in the list, it still has you view the top five; which is not where you are working. If you are moving one down, you can't see where to. Maybe they've fixed this by now.

Pros? well... I suppose that the fact that it might print to PDF could be considered a pro. the fact that it was top-rated by cnet should be one, but...
Cons
after installing, I tried to print this webpage to pdf, as a simple test. most of the large font and headlines characters on this page came out as gibberish!
Summary
I don't know if you have to have special languages or fonts installed in order for this to work... I have English, French and German languages configured. I have NO ms-office apps or any paid apps - just portable apps and other free software is all I use - so I am not sure if the problems are due to some ms-office dependencies as for another pdf program on here. but I do know that it doesn't work with a simple web page for my setup. so I dare not imagine how it might work when you throw it a curve-ball, asking it to print something more complex.

Reliable, user-friendly, functional. It does everything we have ever wanted to do with PDFs including merging, splitting documents, rotating, cropping, adding watermarks, converting into images, the list goes on... Superb support - Prompt in responding and problem solved quickly

None that I can think of.

I have been using PDFill PDF & Image Writer now for several years and can attest to the program's user-friendliness and functionality. It works for all types of documents including generating PDF drawings from CAD programs. This software has received accolades from many people and others have reviewed it in far greater detail than I ever can. I will say this - PDFill PDF & Image Writer is one of the first software that I always install on any new computer! A thumbs-up!!
