PDFill Free PDF and Image Writer

There are plenty of tools that let users convert a variety of different document types into PDF files, but we're not sure we've ever seen one as comprehensive as PDFill PDF and Image Writer Free. This useful tool not only converts documents to PDFs, but also supports a number of different image formats and lets you adjust a wide variety of settings. If you need a way to take advantage of the characteristics of PDF files without investing in expensive software, give PDFill PDF and Image Writer Free a try.

The program can be accessed from virtually anywhere in Windows; once it's installed, it will appear with your other printer options in the print dialog of any program. A configuration menu lets you set your PDF preferences, including output options, optimization, description, security, view preferences, and presentation. There's a whole slew of PDF tools, too; you can merge multiple PDFs, add headers and footers, apply watermarks, rotate and crop pages, and more. PDFs aren't all the program does, either; documents can also be saved in the PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIF, and GIF formats. PDFill PDF and Image Writer Free is easy enough for anyone to use, but its powerful features will please more advanced users, too. A built-in Help file provides a thorough overview of the program's features and includes plenty of screenshots. Overall, we think that PDFill PDF and Image Writer Free is a great thing to have around; it's easy to access when you need it, stays out of your way when you don't, and it packs a lot of useful features that anyone who works with PDFs will appreciate.

Create PDF with options: (1) Optimize PDF output for screen, print, e-book and prepress; (2) Add PDF information such as title, author, subject, keywords; (3) Secure PDF with password in 40/128 bit and permissions; (4) Add view preferences to open page layout, display mode, hide Toolbar, hide MenuBar, hide WindowsUI, fit or center window; (5) Set page display duration, type and duration of the transition effect when you present a PDF document; (6) Rotate PDF page by 90/180/270 degree or crop page with margins; (7) After the PDF creation, you can open, E-mail PDF; You can merge or combine multiple PDF files into one PDF file; Split, extract, reorder or delete PDF pages from a PDF file into a new file; Reformat multiple pages into one page for handout; Add headers and footers to present information, such as date, time, page numbers, or the title of the document; Add Stamp using stylized text and image.

Create Image with options: PNG/JPG/BMP/GIF/TIF, color/gray/mono format, resolution, quality, page number format, antialiasing alpha bits for text or graphics, rotate by 90/180/270, flip horizontally or vertically. Output options: Use default folder and default file name; Use the print job name; Hide the save-as dialog; Replace, append or prepend the existing PDF file; Append time stamp onto file name. An add-in PDF button inside Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is added to save PDF or Image with one click. You can set all the options in the registry keys programmatically.

What's new in this version: Version 10 has a lot of bugs fixed. Add a BUSY flag when it is converting PS to PDF. Add time stamp (Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second) to the file name.
