Among its additional features are password protection, watermarking, and digital signatures. You can set up profiles to store common program settings. PDFExec also supports batch conversion, for publishing entire directories. The tabbed interface could be more straightforward, but if you don't need all of Adobe Acrobat's features and simply want to publish PDFs from MS Word, PDFExec is a cheaper alternative.
