CNET Editors' review
It's not much to look at, but this program quickly and easily helps users convert files into PDF format, and comes at no cost.
PDFCreator has a very basic interface that won't win it any beauty contests. However, by keeping the visuals to a minimum, users will be able to quickly and easily navigate the program and get right to the task at hand. PDFCreator appears as a small, white, rectangular box with a thin strip of command icons along the top. Here you can print, look at options, navigate your files, and open new files. Below the strip is an open space that displays your selected file's name, size, and status.
After selecting a file for conversion, users are taken to another simple screen. This one asks users to create a file name, creation date, author, keyword and subject for the soon-to-be-created PDF. At the bottom of the screen are commands for saving the PDF or emailing it. The email option instantly adds the PDF as an attachment in your Outlook email.
We were impressed with the speed and ease we converted our files to PDF with PDFCreator. There may be more flashy conversion programs available, or ones that try to do more than this one, but for those just looking for an inexpensive and simple PDF converter, this one fits the bill nicely.

"Generally saves you work"
Version: PDFCreator 1.2.3
Pros
Seems to be able to make a pdf from almost anything.
easy to use and extremely reliable. I couldn't do without this technology as making a PDF to email saves lots of frustration.Cons
Has some trouble with the adobe Reader as it doesn't want to override the non-savability of the current reader. I looks like it saving the file but all you get is an mt space holder.
Summary
Great product.

Cons
An upgraded interface would be nice. The UI is a bit of an eye-sore (although that is opinion).

"I've not encountered any problems so far. Easy 2 use 2!"
Version: PDFCreator 1.2.3
Pros
What I primarily looked for was having control of the security of the pdf document. That was most important to me. Secondly, the clarity of the photos in the pdf is the best so far. Finally, this software is so easy to navigate through! It's very user friendly!
Cons
None thus far! I don't anticipate any problems because I have made a good number of pdf files to confirm that there are no immediate problems with this software.

"The way to save on printing to paper."
Version: PDFCreator 1.2.3
Pros
Easy to use, you can make it wait and print other pages to the same file. No need to waste paper until you need to. Improved this version so you don' t have to install the toolbar and it won't (just read during the installation) this time.
Cons
None that I can think of.
Summary
Easier to use than cut and paste to a word document. Just make sure if you print a web page to check your browser print settings and that the "print background" is checked so the document looks the same when done (works most of the time).

"URL redirector spyware/unlawful information gathering"
Version: PDFCreator 1.2.3
Pros
None. Don't download.
Cons
Toolbar is evil and could share information with a third party without your consent. Even redirected my attempts to get to gmail. Reporting them to Google immediately.
Summary
Didn't even notice until there was a problem until their service stopped working and my internet would not work at all as a symptom.
