Publisher's description of PC-Duo Remote Control
PC-Duo is a high-performance remote control program that allows you to view or manipulate any server or workstation on your network. It lets you connect to the problem machine to see what the user sees, then make the necessary changes. Administering remote servers is just as easy: connect to the remote server to make any changes in the configuration, and even reboot, if necessary. The System Snapshot feature shows you a detailed inventory of users hardware configurations.
Version 6.0 can run with the current Beta release of Microsoft's Whistler OS. New features include CAPI support for ISDN, support for Wake-on-LAN, improved ActiveX Control Security, and enhanced support of Windows 2000 SP1. These additions enhance the Group File Transfer and Advanced Scripting, Remote Clipboard, Request Help, Chat Automated Roll-Out, and Quiet modes included in the feature set.

Version: PC-Duo Remote Control 8
Pros: We looked at several RC's for our 1400 users and this one had the best functionality and speed. There are others that are simpler to set up, but none of them could touch PC-Duo for firepower.
Cons: A little cumbersome to set up. Price, many other RCs were free or cheaper, but we did test two that were more expensive, NetSupport and Daneware.
Summary: Very capable, secure RC.
