Out of the Park Baseball 13 is a baseball simulation that GamingTrend calls "the most complete baseball simulation on the market". OOTP offers unparalleled flexibility in creating your own baseball world. Play solo with a baseball world of your own creation: make a simple, 8-team league, play a typical major league game with complete 2012 rosters, create a historical league with real players from any year between 1871 and 2011 or build an enormous world with baseball leagues in multiple countries. For the ultimate challenge, join an online league and test your mettle against other human players. OOTP 13 is the closest most people can get to being the general manager of a real baseball team. Handle GM tasks like drafts, trades, scouting, waivers, team finances and personnel. Negotiate player contracts. OOTP 13 also has a vibrant and helpful user community, and an active one that creates a vast number of user customizations that you can use to further improve your gaming experience, including special roster sets, logos, and player images.

The depth, stats, history development in this game is simply amazing. You can customize the game to what ever kind of baseball universe you are looking for, big or small. The most complete baseball sim you can find. Two thumbs up.
Cons
While the game is pretty easy to pick up and play, to get everything out of its potential may take some time to learn. If you are patient this won't be a problem but if not you may have a problem getting to the point to discover all of OOTP's capabilities and potential which are very robust.

I graduated from college with a sport management degree (the business side of sports). I love this game because I love to figure out how to get a championship team and still make money for my boss. You have a variety of options from replaying real seasons to creating your own league to using any league in the world. Excellent time.

I don't like the fact that it takes my free time away :-)

I used to play Baseball Mogul but I tried this out and haven't looked back since. It is like the Short A season vs. the Big Leagues. Seriously. Baseball Mogul is for preschool Children. OOTB is for baseball lovers.

Ive played numerous baseball sims, but OOTP has truly taken my love for them to a whole new level. The game is incredibly immerse in the world of baseball and lets you take almost pinpoint control of a baseball franchise. I've been a customer from version 5 through the current 8 and have seen a distinct growth and maturity that continues to make it a daily obsession for me. No game I've ever played has had me coming back everyday this long.

Realism, Customizability, Great gaming Community, Tons of features. No game/series has provided me so many hours of enjoyment. Get ready to be immersed! Markus Heinsohn (the game's developer) is a one-man ace creative team.
