Optenet Web Filter PC, now Vista compatible, places an icon in the system tray to open your Internet browser and loads a neatly designed password-protected interface. You can create multiple profiles and select from the filter categories the types of Web sites to block, including but not limited to Gambling, Drugs, Games, Hackers, Porn. The application successfully blocked sites containing information within our filtered selections during testing. You can also restrict the use of P2P applications for file sharing, instant messengers, and e-mail and view a navigation log report.
Using the Contribution button, Optenet Web Filter lets you submit Web sites for possible inclusion on its restricted list. Parents and guardians can rest easy while kids surf the Web freely using this 14-day trial application.

Webfilter help the parents who don't have time to look after their children all the time they play internet so much, because this program has already filtered the suitable website for your children. You don't have to worry that today your children will see the terrible websites including adult content, nudity, sex, peer2peer websites or not . Moreover ; this program also prevent your computer risk to get danger from site used for spamming and also avoid virus from some websites.
In the other hand, This program also has disadvantage.It make computer working slowly when playing internet because of its processing. Some significance website are blocked like social network sites. Some children have to follow their work from their Facebook. Furthermore, Japanese nude website also be available. However Webfilter is very useful. If you can fix this problem , it gonna be great and also will be the perfect program. Looking forward to your fixing program. ^^

Blocks virtually all inappropriate websites. I don't mean like FoxNews.com, but like real inappropriate websites...

Not fancy and sophisticated. Plain and simple...

It works with no problems. Easy install, set it up and forget.
Cons
One of my kids complained that something he wanted to look at was blocked. But I was able to report it easily and give him access.
Summary
I am so relieved that porn and other bad websites are blocked from our computers.I tried 4 programs before finding Optenet PC. One I could not get installed. One crashed my computer and one was too complicated to set up.

Optenet will block intenet access until you purchase it. When you do purchase it and try to uninstall it it will say error when entering password and or email.
Summary
DO NOT USE OPTENET!!!!!!!!! The only way to get rid of it is system restore. I have contacted the company various times with no reply.

Took me 2 minutes to install and I am not technical. After my kids saw pornography I was desperate to block those sites and not have to limit the kids using the Internet. So far so good with Optenet PC. Tech support answers email right away too.
Cons
