OfficeTime automatically detect how long you've been idle and subtract it or assign it to a different project and track visual history or your days in your favorite iCal calendar. OfficeTime features one click Quick Reporting to instantly see where your time has gone. Then choose more refinement and watch as the report and graphs changes in real time. Fluid reports that change as you watch are a more natural and dynamic way to interact with your data. The project supervisor can combine multiple employee files to produce powerful cross-person, team based reporting. Each employee's data file can optionally be stored and accessed on a shared server drive. Now you can see at a glance the time and detail spent on each project under your supervision.
What's new in this version: In version 1.6.3, automatically puts the cursor ready to type notes after starting the timer and editing a note in the bottom large area.

"Invoice MORE without working more. Super EASY to use."

Pros
Developers TOTALLY in sync with users, responsive to suggestions and inquiries. VERY small screen space used. Subtly keeps me aware of my time usage and on track with projects. Very easy to flip back and forth between multiple clients and projects.
Cons
So far, I haven't found any.
Summary
I've tried on a handful of time trackers, and OfficeTime has definitely been my favorite (http://OfficeTime.net). I run a client driven business and track my time per client AND per project. OfficeTime just works - it's as easy as pick the client / project and hit the space bar to start. If I'm away from my computer, or stop working for some reason, it will actually put up a pop up that says, "you've been inactive for x minutes, should I subtract the x minutes -- or add them to another project?" I also use their reporting system to run my invoices. As a freelance writer and sometimes virtual assistant, I have a passion for time being well managed. That is partly because my livelihood and my success depend upon productivity -- but I depend upon having enough mental room to create -- and to problem solve. That can't happen when we're running at 100 mph all day, every day and not knowing where our time goes. OfficeTime has helped me to understand the value of time tracking and to completely change how my work / life balance plays out. The best gift of this simple easy time tracker has been that my UPtime is so maximized that my DOWN time is better -- it's free of interruptions and distractions. AND I invoice more without working more.

I've used similar programs so the expected functionality was all present and easily configured for my work. Best unexpected feature: when I'd been proofing for some time, the program asked, "You've not touched the keyboard for 17 minutes. Should this time be deducted from your billable hours?" or words to that effect. It took me a couple of passes to get the invoicing the way I wanted, but since I barely glanced at the help files, not bad at all. Well worth paying for.

"Best organizational tool for creatives"

Pros
It's an extremely simple time keeping tool. Nothing fancy or confusing, it keeps track of time spent and organizes the information by job and project. Very simple, and perfect for a creative when all you want to do is just work and not muck about with learning new business software. With this tool, I was able to see clearly that I could quit my horrible day job and go freelance.
Cons
I'd like the ability to time stamp in the notes section, but they tell me that's coming.

Pros
As a freelance writer/designer, keeping tabs on my time means keeping tabs on my income. Not only is this software perfectly designed, it's perfectly easy to use. Best of all, the price is well worth every penny. If your time literally means money, you won't find a better time management tool out there.
Cons
I would love the opportunity to customize the invoice templates a bit more. Allowing templates to be altered in, say, Adobe Illustrator, would provide the finishing touches.

Pros
Finally the family of easy-to-use mac application have it's own timetracker. Comparing to other trackers, this one is really easy to work with. I think it's very important - i tried many trackers and I simply forget to use them, but this is the one i'd stick with.
Cons
It's 0.42 version. So it's beta. It never crashed or did anything wrong. I have found few minor issues (idle detector does not watch keyboard, sometimes can't resume last task). I reported and got VERY quick reply, that those gonna be fixed in next version. Nice:)

Pros
Discreet - minimal screen real estate used. Does only what it's asked. Never bothers me. Always easily available and helps keeps me aware of my time usage. For my graphic design biz, I find it to be a well-behaved little app. Easy to work among/between multiple jobs. Nice report function (haven't really used the "generate invoice" function yet, but I tried it and it seems to work quite well. The developer's been real helpful with my questions.
