Pros
Pick from a list of great freeware utilities and programs to install the latest versions with ALL BLOATWARE EXCLUDED and any extra options or data-opt ins already excluded. Then, you can keep the custom file for the software you've chosen and use it as a one-click update check for the life of your computer (or any other machine you want that custom software list on). All software on their list has been vetted by the wider open source community over years. Like I said, if you use the wares on their list, there's no downside here since this is all by and for open source users helping each other.
Cons
Wish some other choices were available in some categories, but these are all pretty good at the least.

If you have just formatted your drive or just bought a new win OS then you can install most of the popular software in one click. . No need to click next, next, ...next, exit. . No need to worry about accidentally installing yahoo toolbar or aol toolbar or ask.com bar toolbar. .
Cons
. The list is not complete. . free version does not updates the apps. You have to update it from the software's original site.

Cannot be set to automatically access internet with Panda Cloud and downloads virus carrying updates.

The best use would be to tell you there are updates to download and install on your own because it will download viruses if you let it. After the second time my antivirus deleted an update it downloaded, I deleted ninite.

Great service, saves alot of time when reinstalling a clean version of Windows. Offers a wide variety of programs. Easy to use, can choose all the programs and then walk away while it downloads and installs all of them automatically.
Cons
Only works with Windows and a few types of Linux, does not work with Mac.
