Format and arrange your SQL statements.

NiceSQL is a tool made for developers that work against databases. niceSQL formats your SQL statements so that they become well arranged. niceSQL supports, selects, inserts, updates, and deletes with unions, joins, case, group, order, having It also supports stored procedures and stored functions. Default NiceSQL uses the hotkey ctrl+shift+j to format the text you have on your clipboard. When finished the formatted SQL is back on your clipboard. You can also dbl-click on the system tray icon.

Version 4.9.2 handles more advanced SQLs.

Pros
I have used this for years, each time i upgrade laptops or OS, i install it again...great tool, does a fantastic job of formatting SQL.
Cons
It doesn't handle multi statement sql very well (stored procs), but you can select portions of that code and format them one by one.
Summary
this is a great utility that has helped me on many projects. I can type some really UGLY SQL and this tool makes it a) standard and b) readible...
Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Formats messy SQL in an instant -- very useful for making sense of application log files which have SQL in a single line.

I have tried this app, and find it wery useful when I have large statements or procedures that is "ugly" formatted, or I just need to understand. <p> <p>The trial works fine. I press the Close button, and the app is still running in the syst tray.

I installed this program and the first time I ran it I was given only the options of quit or buy... the "free trial" advertised here doesn't exist.
