Publisher's description of NewsGator Desktop
NewsGator Desktop is a Web feeds add-on for Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista. Desktop is a system tray application that keeps your NewsGator RSS feeds, folders, and read states synchronized with the Windows RSS platform. This means that any application that uses the Windows RSS platform will be automatically synchronized with your NewsGator online account. Desktop also includes it's own system tray notifier and reader. When new items arrive in your NewsGator feeds, you can read them right away.
