Publisher's description
From Ming Jin :A rich featured network monitor. It can display network applications, connections, and their real time speed, log network actions and generate statistics report on network usage of every application and every remote client. This will tell you who has downloaded the most from your computer. The "WhoIs" feature will tell you much information about the remote IP address and domain names. It can limit network transfer speed for each application or connection. It's a fully functional personal firewall, which can setup rules based on DNS name and URL, and can import rules from other resources. It includes a popup killer, which eliminates annoying popup windows when you surf on the Internet.
Version 2.83 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: NetPeeker 2.83
"totally messed up my computer"
Pros: this programme was great, really useful for limiting the speeds of applications on my computer and stuff, which is ideal if you're using torrents and browsing the internet....
Cons: ...then my computer crashed, wouldn't boot except in safe mode, otherwise i got a IRQ_IS_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO etc stop message. so i uninstalled netpeeker and it booted up properly again, except still at a snail's pace.
thanks netpeeker for completely messing up my computer. i'm really looking forward to reinstalling windows. not.

Version: NetPeeker 2.83
"Little program that packs a lot of power."
Pros: Has pretty much almost every feature you'd ever want out of a network monitoring tool and firewall. It's really light on system resources and it's fast. Lots of advanced configuration options to choose from. Ability to throttle speed on a per-session or per-application basis is a really nice and powerful plus.

Version: NetPeeker 2.83
"Wake up CNET!! This gem is up to v3.1"
Pros: Much improved from reviewed version v2.83. It does a lot of things very well. You may not need other programs that may excel in one area. You got rule-based firewall, port throttling. logging, multi-network, capture, popup killer.
Cons: Seems to be more a labor of love than thriving business. I use it mostly for program monitoring and task killing. Used firewall during Eset Smart Security firewall maturation.

Pros: -detailed traffic monitoring by port and ip
-light firewall
-data capture
-bandwidth throttling
-bandwidth monitoring
-easy to use
-light on resourcesCons: -lackluster support, last update July 2007
Summary: When I was running Windows XP, I was using this program and it's just wonderful the amount of detailed information you can easily obtain with NetPeeker. From what applications are using bandwidth and how much, right down to what ports, IP addresses,... read more >>
