  Pros

  Who is used to the eclipse environment will appreciate certain usability with this IDE It loads fast and is lightweight

  Cons

  a free trial version to try don't be fooled when it says "free" it merely is a free download

  Summary

  the product is falsly advertised and belongs into a different licensing category aka "trial version" If you use eclipse already.... don't waste your time trying something new. Most "news" is just another eclpse clone. In my opinion, there is nothing better on the market right now to replace eclipse (even JBuilder formerly from Borland was an eclipse based IDE).

  Pros

  I think it's a small program. It's loading very fast. It is native windows environment. I feel comfortable to use it to develop my java programs. I hope it can support CVS soon.

  please support PHP and Ruby.

  Pros

  I've used Eclipse for 2 years and some other Java-based IDEs but IMHO none compares with Jcoder. Eclipse and most other IDEs are developed in Java so it lends it a sluggishness which can't get in the way of your work. What I'm looking for is a fast and lightweight IDE, and Jcoder meets what I need as it's completely written in C++.

  Cons

  It doesn't support JRuby.
