More than a mere HTML editor, this visually oriented development tool handles everything from graphics to site management with better-than-average performance in most areas. The highly configurable Windows-style interface features a convenient preview tab that lets you test animated and interactive elements without an external Web browser. We were impressed by the speed and precision with which we were able to create Web pages complete with tables, forms and interactive Flash buttons. We also liked the included vector-graphics tool, WebCanvas. Although it is no substitute for full-featured-illustration or image-editing programs, it has well-chosen features geared for quick production of stylized, optimized Web graphics.
Overall, Namo WebEditor is easily the most robust application in its price range and a reasonable alternative to Web-design juggernauts such as Dreamweaver.

Cons: I was unable to activate this software as the developer's website was down - and was still down several days later.

Version: Namo WebEditor Professional
Pros: I've been using this software free trial for about 3 weeks and finally bought it at their website just now. I never wanna use one of those crappy software that claims to do everything to make a website at $19.99 (i have too many bad experiences about this), so a couple of years ago i paid three hundred something for FrontPage. Of course the user interface is fabulous and it's supposedly really powerful, but it's so darn complicated!
So I kinda looked for another software that would help me manage my beloved website a little more easily, and bumped into WebEditor. It's easy enough, I get to play with their templates and create my own pages from the scratch as well, and their html editing features are pretty powerful. This one has a Flash animation software as well, and I didn't really spend a lot of time on that but it'll surely help me decorate my website later. Way to go!

"GFood Basic Editor lousy for large sites"
Pros: Its very easy to use. It has many buily in capabilities not available in other products
Cons: No Technical support. If you have a problem you are on your own. They are missing the boat. With good technical support this could easily be a premier product. See the website forum. It appears they do not monitor that either.
Summary: I have had a memory crash error each time I try to update my site. Once the site is large it cannot handle it. I called and they said it was registry error. After thorough investigation and multiple attempts to repair as they had suggested it still ... read more >>

Version: Namo WebEditor Professional
Pros: Basically it is a good and economical web site creator. But it has problems with editing templates and crashes.
Cons: Tech support is slow to non-existent. Personally I won't buy from them again because they are unresponsive. Currently I have a problem report thats been with them almost 4 weeks and received absolutely no response.
Summary: Technical support is the biggest obstacle to this being a good company.
