"Compared to others, this is a winner, hands down."

    March 11, 2014   |   By ArizWiz

    Version: NAS Data Recovery 2.12

    Pros

Fast. I have used runtime's free backup program "DRIVE IMAGE XML" for quite a few years and found it also to be fast and reliable.

Compared to the competition, NAS DATA RECOVERY is an all-in-one software package. Not 2 separate programs: fix raid, recover raid

    Cons

Seldom get a response from support when I've asked "pre-sale" questions.

    Summary

I don't think it's pricy at all. If you can afford a NAS, and have valuable files on that nas (think TurboTax), Then $99 is like a fart in a windstorm... ie: nothing.

    "Fast but pricey!"

    February 05, 2014   |   By emorris10001

    Version: NAS Data Recovery 2.12

    Pros

Incredibly fast. With other software I would have to wait 4 hours for it to tell me files existed, and usually they couldn't find the file names. This one instantly had access to most of the files. Very slick.

    Cons

But really, 100$ for NAS recovery? For the personal user, how many times are you going to use this? I have no choice because if I don't recover these pictures my girlfriend is going to beat me up. Its just a bit too expensive.

it just bothers me because the last blog post from these guys is 2012. It doesn't seem like its that regularly updated anymore.
