MyMaillist Deluxe for Windows

Avanquest's MyMailList Deluxe creates mailing labels and other materials on a massive scale. Its simple layout and diverse options make it a fine choice for mailing software. However, its promise to lower our shipping costs went unfulfilled, which was a huge letdown.

We loved the program's interface, with its helpful templates and separate tabs. Having only minimal mail-merge experience, we slipped right into a comfort zone. The most difficult part of the program was cycling through the dozens of shipping options it gives you. These range from professional-looking labels to festively colored labels, form letters, Rolodex cards, and other helpful business documents, each showcasing Name, Address, and other important information, and all placed within brackets and ready to use. The program's Data tab lets you import and view a spreadsheet with all relevant shipping information. MyMailList Deluxe blends the template and data smoothly, which lets you print right off of the results. While it's a bit too much work to use for small batches, you'll save time on large mailings. Unfortunately, the Postage Savings feature was a bit of a letdown. It's just a link to another program that claims to help you better classify postage, so it's not much help. However, the capability to quickly and efficiently produce labels more than made up for it.

MyMailList Deluxe has a 20-use limit. It comes as a compressed file and installs desktop icons without permission. Aside from misleading claims about saving on postage, it's a great program, and we recommend it.
