CNET Editors' review
If you want to know what the weather is, the saying goes, look outside. MyFreeWeather allows users to do just that, without ever having to get up from their computers. This attractive weather program lets users view illustrated versions of the sky in their selected location, with both the time of day and weather accurately portrayed. With features typical of other weather software and the nifty sky graphics to boot, we think MyFreeWeather is a nice choice for a go-to weather program.
MyFreeWeather's interface is sleek and intuitive, with the sky illustration filling the upper third or so and a variety of other weather information displayed below. The current temperature, humidity, visibility, wind direction, wind speed, and five-day forecast are included. Information is provided by the Weather Channel, which we've found to be the most accurate online weather provider. MyFreeWeather also includes links to the Weather Channel's pollen, airport, and traffic reports. The program is easy to configure, with a simple settings menu that lets users add locations anywhere in the world and adjust how frequently the weather is updated. When the program is minimized it appears as an icon in the system tray, making it easy to access the weather report when you need it and keep it out of the way when you don't. The program has no Help file, but we didn't really feel that it needed one. Overall, we liked MyFreeWeather very much, and we have no major complaints.
MyFreeWeather is free. It installs a desktop icon without asking and leaves the icon and a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.

"Poor customization,very limited locations"
Version: MyFreeWeather 2.24
Pros
None-greatly inferior to other free weather products
Cons
Uninstalled immediately. Both the free Earth Alerts software and the Weather Watcher Live add-on for Firefox are much better: many localized reporting stations, etc.

"I like it."
Version: MyFreeWeather 2.24
Pros
I had Weatherbug and it bugged the hell out of me. Although it had a lot of options, I had to force it to close everytime I turned off my laptop. The program only comes on when I click it and tells me what I want to know.
Cons
Can't think of any for whazrt I want.
Summary
This is just what the "Nev" want in a weather program, not a bunch of bells and whistles, just the weather with out any pestering.
My old version quite working, so now I've downloaded the new one. As much as I like the old one the new as gone down hill. I quess in trying to keep up with the Jones they lost the simplitic beauty of what they had.

"Perfect app!"
Version: MyFreeWeather 2.24
Pros
Nice clear graphics when maximized; inconspicuous in system tray; all kinds of accurate weather info at a glance.
Cons
No cons at all.
Summary
EXACTLY what I was always looking for in a weather app! I can finally stop searching for the perfect weather app!
I just read some of the other reviews and wanted to add that I use Avast Anti-Virus, and it does not see this app as a virus, a trojan, or anything bad. I've been using it for about a month.

Version: MyFreeWeather 2.24
Pros
easy to use and accurate
Cons
a bit to much hype about being so real you don't even need to look outside

had to manually remove the directory after uninstlSummary
without the virus/Trojan load would use this product but not until then
