My Screen Recorder is an easy-to-use program that lets you record your onscreen activity. With its intuitive design and useful features, My Screen Recorder is a great way to create demonstrations, tutorials, and more.
The program's interface isn't the most beautiful we've ever seen, but it's easy to figure out. The big red Record button brings up a dialogue that guides you through the process of configuring the recording options. Once that's done, the program records until you hit Stop within the program's interface or uses the designated keyboard shortcut. The program then saves and replays the recorded video. My Screen Recorder has quite a few features and options, making it one of the more versatile programs of this type that we've seen. You can select whether you want to record the full screen or just a specified region, can choose between AVI and WMA output formats, and have the option of recording just audio or video. We especially liked the program's audio tuning wizard, which helps you configure your recording and playback volume. The application also helps you customize your display options by offering a variety of settings for visual effects and Windows appearance, and the program's built-in Help file is well-written and thorough. Overall, we found My Screen Recorder to be very easy to use--simple enough for beginners--but customizable enough to meet the needs of more demanding users.
My Screen Recorder is free to try, but the trial version puts a watermark on the program's output. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

Watermark on free version. Free version don't allow audio from speakers ( Only allows recording through microphone ).Had to remember to scroll screen if trying to show something that is blocked by watermark.No video editing built into program.Cannot afford to buy program right now.
Summary
Created how to step by step instructions on how to down load free programs from c-net and tips on how to navigate site. Same as with Youtube and other things.Using screen recorder allowed me to show mostly clueless computer users exactly what to do, how it looked on my computer,And if they were using windows 7 like me, they see exactly what they will see following my instructions. It helps empower others to understand pretty well, review instructions, pause or look back over things they forgot.

I think a recorder named DawnArk Screen Recorder is better. cheap, and easy. Output mp4, avi, and flv. Most of all, it is cheap enough. So I can affort it.

watermark causes interference with picture quality in trial version and product is not fully testable within free trial parameters. Also a bit high on price without a true test of functionality.
Summary
Probably great software but too hard to tell without a full trial test. I would be more willing to buy after a 14 day fulll free trial to see what it can do. In the trial version the watermark interferes with capture and trying to use the full screen feature is a little difficult.

I have been using this for a couple of years, and I have tried all the other recorders. My Screen Recorder creates excellent quality videos that are small enough to email.

None, works better than advertised.
Summary
I use this to review documents given to be by my staff. Instead of spending an hour typing my comments, I bring up the document on my screen and in 5 minutes I can review and explain exactly what needs to be changed. My Screen Recorder is fast, efficient, and just works well - it is a real time saver.
