This application lets you set the mouse speed for individual programs but is disappointing in its performance. Mouse Master s utilitarian interface requires some work, and you ll find the help file to be more confusing than the application. You specify a program and set mouse speed settings for sensitivity and acceleration. You can also set a priority for the entry, though it isn t clear what it prioritizes. Regardless of settings, no discernible variance in mouse speed was noticed between applications. You also can set the sample rate for your mouse, but this is merely an alternative to doing the same thing in the control panel. The option to create hotkeys to increase and decrease mouse speed is disabled in the 15-day trial version. Novices won t be able to navigate it, and advanced users will be disappointed with its output.
