  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I've been using this pinball game for about a month and can't say enough good about it. Everyone in our house loves it. I watched an expert play it, and I now know that this is something we will be using for a very long time since it is challenging even for a longstanding user. This isn't to say that it's tough for a rookie ...just the opposite. The rules are clear, and it's a fun theme. The graphics are fantistic and run great on two different G4 machines. Our smallest Mac has 32 MB video RAM and the game looks as good on it as the big machine which has 128 MB video RAM. I've seen plenty of pinball games running on various PCs, but this is better than anything I've seen on a PC. Well worth the cost if you've ever liked pinball.

The reviewer who wrote "flippers don't work while ball is in play" must have unplugged his keyboard. LittleWing's pinball games keep getting better. Highly recommended.

I have had no problems with the game, and would venture to say that the play is the most enjoyable of the pinball emulators I have tried. Yes, as with all Little Wing pinball games, some of the keystroke commands to start a new game, etc, are a bit odd, but certainly nothing that alters the game enjoyment. If you like pinball on the mac OS, I think you will enjoy this immensley, and supporting Little Wing and their efforts will make you happier, wiser, and better looking.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />The demo worked fine for me, including the flippers. Granted, 90 seconds is not a long time to get a feel for the game. I also find a lot is packed into the screen compared to some of their earlier pinball games. But the graphics are excellent and it has a good soundtrack (though that could be annoying after a while). I still have to try it again to understand more of the game play, but it looks like it will be fun. It seems to follow in the line of other LittleWing pinball games. They have been the only game developers that I know that have really worked on getting pinball to the Mac, including Mac OS X. That I really appreciate. So, while the price does seem a little steep, I do appreciate LittleWing's efforts and feel it is worth it.

Complaints: The flippers don't work while the ball is in play, so obviously it's impossible to tell how well the game plays. The application controls are counter-intuitive, such as the escape key assigned for game start. The price is utterly ridiculous. Nearly $30 for barely functioning shareware game? Lastly, the demo lasts only for 90 seconds. Since the flippers didn't work, I quit even before the short preview time would have presumably nixed the game anyway. Maybe the developer will put more work into the game and it'll be worth another look at version 2.0. [OSX 10.3.6; G4 1.33 GHtz]
