From Modem Max:ModemMax is an Internet accelerator that optimizes your connection speed 200 percent or more by adjusting seldom-used Windows registry settings. ModemMax offers a built-in Speed Test function that allows users to see the differences in connection speeds before and after optimization. ModemMax works with Windows versions 95, 98, and Me, and can be used with both Internet Explorer and Netscape. ModemMax also supports 56K modems and broadband connections, including cable and DSL. This update features minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Pros: For some users your internet access speed could be already be at its top. Thats why most you might not notice a different. Normally you should check the site or product. For example if you have bellsouth dsl and you got the bellsouth dsl lite, and have to pay you 24.95$, your speed will be at a maximum of 256Kbps. But if you notice that your download speed is lower then this program is recommended for you.

"I got this free when i got the bug doctor and click on bonus!"
Pros: I notice a big improvement. I use DSL but it happens to be slow. The modem max boost up my speed back to the way it was once was before.
Cons: None.
