• Useful program for resizing partitions

  Pros

  I was starting to have serious storage issues with my computer because my C drive partition was too small when compared to the rest of the drive. Using this program, I resized my Windows partition by taking away space from another partition, unallocating it and expanding it to the Windows partition. The videos on their website were helpful. I just needed to reboot and the program did everything. I just used the free version.

  None so far. I've been looking for a solution for a long time.

  Pros

  Simple to use but I did need to use the online tutorial to get through on first use. Recovered 90 gigs of unused space from inside windows.

  None that I've found for what I used it for.

  Don't know what version others used but the 'Free' version does what it say's with no additional charge. Simply the best I've found. PW102-Free

  Pros

  It works, but key disk management operations are not available for free. Website compares versions/features. Good help guides online with video tutorials. Does a good job for some basic disk tasks.

  Cons

  This program found my unallocated hdd space very quickly, but you must purchase the pro version for recovery. The website has a comparison chart that confirms this when directed to the 'buy' page. I downloaded a different free app from download.com to do what I needed. Might have considered purchase at $9.99.

  On the free version it won't let you merge two partitions into one. Will have to pay.

  Pros

  It has solved my disk problem greatly - can't extend my partition by taking unused space from another partition. It also provides more powerful functions and easier operations than Windows Disk Management and other similar disk partition management tools.

  Clean, easy to use interface and controls. Used this for years on a number of Windows-based computers and have never had lost data/damaged files (including the current version) Does exactly what it is intended for, adequate hints/instructions built in.

  None, functions exactly as it should.

  Summary

  I don't make a habit of resizing/copying/deleting/changing partitions often...but when I need to do so, Mini Tool Partition Free does the job with no problems. This is a great utility.
