Download now to prevent a malicious user from creating or predicting pipes that allow impersonation of your specific user or LocalSystem privileges.

The Service Control Manager (SCM) is an administrative tool in Windows 2000 that allows system services like Server, Workstation, Alerter, ClipBook, and others to be created or modified. The SCM creates a named pipe for each service as it starts.
