Very satisfied
DrrnHarr- Pros
- Auto tag feature saves time in adding metadata Creates tag information compatible with iTunes tagging so my mp4s don't look out of place.
- Cons
- Sometimes it will misidentify a movie even with additional data added to prevent this, I added tags to the 1959 Kennth More remake of "The 39 Steps" and it insisted on trying to add info for the Donat movie. This, despite the fact that I manually added the year 1959 and the lead actor as Kenneth More.
- Summary
- I would recommend this software.
Not working... Better use AtomicParsley which is free
SuperSachin- Pros
- Nothing...
- Cons
- Didn't work to change the title of a mk4 file.
- Summary
Works as advertised.
MichaelGurfey- Pros
- Does what it claims to do, and is easy and intuitive to use.
- Cons
- None that I can think of.
- Summary
Gets the job done pretty well
bennesher- Pros
- 1. Can tag video files as TV Shows, which is something iTunes doesn't do. 2. Data lookup from tagChimp is pretty slick
- Cons
- 1. After finding the data you want from tagChimp, you need to click 'Check all fields' in order to ensure that all that great data gets written. 2. There are a few iTunes fields that aren't supported, in particular "track x of y" and "disk x of y".
- Summary
- If you rip TV episodes from DVDs to use in iTunes, then you want this app, even if only to tag the files as TV Shows - otherwise, iTunes will import as movies! The community developed database at tagChimp.com is the core of what makes this app work, but the tagChimp is still young. Hopefully, it will improve over time. Data from tagChimp isn't always perfect, and tagChimp doesn't yet support editing... Also, tagChimp will sometimes have multiple entries for the same item. Not really a fault of the program, but a limitation on its usability none the less.
