Medieval II: Total War is the fourth installment of the Total War series of strategy games. Take command of a massive army--featuring an unprecedented 10,000 dynamic characters--on epic 3D battlefields, while reigning over some of the greatest medieval nations of the Western and Middle Eastern world. Spanning the years 1080-1530--the most turbulent period in European history--your quest for power takes you through Europe, Africa, and the Middle East...and even onto the shores of the New World.

Leadership on and off the battlefield is paramount. With the turn-based campaign map, you'll control everything from building and improving cities to recruiting and training armies. Employ diplomacy to manipulate allies and enemies, outsmart the dreaded Inquisition, and influence the Pope. Lead the fight in the Crusades and bring victory to Islam or Christianity in the Holy War.

This demo includes a tutorial and two scenario maps.

JUST BUY IT<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jul 10, 2011<p/>hmm? i dont see what you guys are talking about but this might just be me. i have the same graphics card as yours bust still mine works i dont know why yours doesent. maybe check your firewall or other antivirus especially avast that blocks the game from running if you have it.

The scenery was interesting, all the details, vegetation, the movements -astoundingly insane. Though the requirements and the specs it asks for the game were big, but its worth it because the quality of the interface was great. But I think, a basic know-how on politics would come in handy.

The controls for the mouse were different compared to other rpg's...

Liked the ability for the computer to resolve battles.

Took me about 20 minutes to figure the game out. Way too easy, even at the most difficult settings. <p>Easy to overwhelm computer opponents and while the game will last for hours the outcome is never in doubt, simply going thru the motions of crushing the other countries.

The demo just freezes when I click to enter one of the maps. I guess I have a graphics card problem, but this is a new laptop, it should be fine. If anyone else had similar problems please post. Just in case, this is the type of graphics card I have in the laptop: <p>Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family
