No HTML
No modern security.
Not compatible with major mail providers.
Summary
Mailbird did a masterful job separating me from the money for a "Lifetime Support" membership. The program was stillborn.
There is no HTML support, and per their own support personnel, it is not planned to be added. You can read a message that arrives in HTML format, but you cannot respond or compose in anything other than plain text.
Mailbird's encryption is insecure. Yahoo, Gmail, and Live all block its access to their servers, and your mail as an "insecure client." You will receive warnings about its attempts to access as well. Those companies have modern security on your information, yet you've read about the breaches in the past several years.
Mailbird is a Chinese program designed to make access to your personal information easy. Should you use it, you are responsible for the loss of your information.
Would like to give it -3 stars

Pros
Can't think of any right off the bat
Cons
Can't import contacts... Won't take anything but a Vcard file. tried to convert a CSV file to a Vcard file and ended up with gobbeldygook. Completely useless to me
Summary
Since I have no desire to become a computer programmer to add contacts to my email client I deleted this crappy program.
A few hours of my life I can;t get back!!!!
Ridiculously resource hungry

Pros
There are none pros to this app.
Cons
The app is not free. It comes with a three day trial afterwhich it becomes impotent and you only get the light version.
The app is very heavy on resources, in particular it forces Microsoft Net Framerwork 4.5,2 to be installed created sluggishness.
Summary
In summary, this email client is really meant for a computer that is no more than a 6 months old and is quite powerful. It is not meant for Windows 7 and if you have a PC more than a year old.
If you need an email client, you might be stuck with Mozilla Thunderbird or getting your hands on MS Outlook 2015.
Yeah, pretty good. But annoying too.

Pros
Pros: Does what it should do.
Cons
Updates are released ALL THE TIME. Also, the search function is a little wonky
Summary
Doesn't work with Gmail. Support sucks
Thomas Coffey
Pros
I can see all my Gmail email accounts in one place.
Cons
10% of the time I cannot send email (messages sit in "sending" temporarily before failing to send and being filed in the "draft" folder) and Mailbird help desk couldn't care less (despite the fact that I'm a "premium" member). If your product doesn't work with Gmail you shouldn't be in the email client business.
Summary
Bad tech (doesn't play well with Gmail). Bad Support.
horrible, horrible mail app
Vorostatz
Pros
There are absolutely no "pros" to this app
Any positive reviews are paid planted reviews or staff members
Cons
Slow scrolling
Buggy
Gmail gives the warning "This app doesnt meet modern security standards"
VERY difficult to uninstall
Summary
this mail program is terrible, if I could give it negative stars I would. On windows 10 is so slow as to be unusable (6th Gen Core i5 8 gigs of ram). Had to create account 3 times for it to stick. Doesn't support two step authentication, regular gmail account wont connect because the app fails to meet modern security standards. And it will try to prevent you from uninstalling it. You need to exit app to uninstall, and when you click uninstall in control panel it opens mail program to "configure" the app and hangs endlessly. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app.
Very good but not totally great.

Pros
Simple, slick, and not at all bloated. Visually it is very well suited for a desktop. It is also configurable in the most important aspects and easy to use and understand.
Cons
Not quite as fast as touted. At least not in manual mode. The program is quick, but could be a little quicker to open, and finish getting mail. The inbox mail can only be deleted one by one which can be tedious (if reluctant to use shift).
Summary
I'm using Mailbird as my primary client and I think I am liking it a little more than the primary Windows 10 client. So far so good. I like the finished getting mail sound. I wish I could edit it (louder). I think I'm sticking with Mailbird.
Perfect for every day usage

Cons
I connected 2 mails..Its show the mails in reg..But it dos not open them
.Maybe i just did not find out..But i find it .no smart that I have to delete mails one by one.
Summary
This new one by march 2015 is not opening my mails..so I guess I will again have to live without mailbird
The email client we have all been waiting for
Ciara Conlon
Pros
The guys who developed this software have thought of everything. The appear to understand how necessary it is to integrate all the requirements of the modern information worker, task management, scheduling and file storage. I'm loving how easy it is to scan emails and conversations and then file or add them to Asana, Evernote or Todoist the three best tasks management tools available.
Cons
I find the scrolling within the windows a little difficult, the scroll bar is minimalistic and I'm not yet comfortable with it.
Summary
Fast, simple and intuitive, ticks all boxes for me, bye bye Outlook.
