  "Free to try?"

  Cons: Downloaded the software and installed it. When I tried to open it, it asked me for a product serial number. There was no PSN for a trial version included so I was not able to evaluate it. I think nearly 100 dollars for a program like this is a little pricey anyway. I guess I will go hunt for something else to fit my needs.

  "Hyper Cool and Easy to use MPEG editor, super for HD"

  Pros: This tool is a/ an excellent MPEG Editor

  b/ a good DVD author/burn tool

  The key value is in the MPEG Editor ( also available separately, check www womble com. It's a Shame that this tool is rarely reviewed, because its perfect not only for TV but also for the footage delivered by many Camcorders recording on disk or Flash.

  It also supports very elegantly the HDV high def format !

  Works on SMALL CPUs, perfect for lightweight portable. Smart Rendering makes it skip re-encoding for simple edits!

  i also use MVW For AVCHD after converting it to HDV, by far the fastest and smoothest workflow compared to Studio, Ulidead,Canopus etc...!

  "brutal!!!"

  Cons: I've had their software for ohhh three years and it worked fine but...

  But recently they did an update and now it sucks!! If I take a video that plays clean (as in no audio pops or cracks in three players) and run it thru their software to add transistions, the final product NOW HAS audio pops and cracks!!!

  Buyer Beware!!!
