• Fast and reliable xml toolkit

  Nice saxon engine, fast xslt processing, large file editor can do TB files, very impressive, easy to use xml validator

  Cons

  runs on windows only, although your generated code can run on mac or linux as well.

  Summary

  Overall, a very good xml tool that runs on windows os.

  Pros

  2011 version has Graphical XSD, XML, WSDL, XPath, XQuery etc etc and is excellent value.

• Unable to install w/o .Net v1.1

  The software would not install. Gave the error message "This software requires the Microsoft .Net Framework Runtime v1.1"

• Great XML Schema Editor

  Pros

  Free! Very nice XML Schema Editor - easy to see whats going on and editor XSD's XML Sample generator - great for creating sample XML from an XSD, great for testing

  Cons

  Didn't chameleon scheams

  Summary

  There are better things about, but this does most of what you'd want and for free. There is also a newer (not so free) version which does do the rest.

  I tested the Beta version, and it lacks a few features, but then again its Free
