LaunchOnFly is a Start Menu alternative and hotkey manager. It lets you launch applications, open files, folders, Web sites, and send e-mails faster and easier using quickly accessible and easily configurable menu which you can open using either mouse or keyboard. After setup initial menu is created for you. It's very easy to add new items to menu using Send To menu or by dragging and dropping them onto LaunchOnFly Settings window.

This program does not seem to be different from the Quick Launch task bar that comes with Windows. Using the Quick Launch task bar does not use memory.

WARNING. I upgraded from an earlier version and now I want to uninstall the trial version but I can't. It keeps popping up the registration form a couple of times, then it pops up the program and then the uninstallation process freezes and it can close only by ending the task at the task manager. VERY ANNOYING. I tried many things to uninstall it but I had no success till now.

I tried at least a half dozen launcher programs (some of them not free), but this one is the best I've found. It is easy to set up, easy to configure, easy to customize, and easy to use. It doesn't look cheesy like some launchers, and it doesn't take up a lot of room on your screen like some of the huge bar-type launchers. You can get to practically anything with just one mouse click or two at the most. You can't drag and drop items, but you can right-click on a file that you want to add, and it will give you the option of sending it to LaunchOnFly, a really cool feature I haven't seen in other launchers. LaunchOnFly has all the essential features I was looking for, and more are promised in future versions, although I don't see how it could get much better. Give it a try, its free!

No help files yet, but they say they are coming soon. I didn't really need any anyway, it is easy to figure out.

Quick setup love that there are multiple ways to access the menu, ie shortcut keys, mouse toggle, and hover at a set point of the screen. Or you can just click on the app as well. Just click on some of your most used programs or apps and go send to and then to on fly. Can save on desktop clutter.
Cons
Not the best appearance, and i guess skins or something would be nice, but you get what you pay for, and this is free, so dont complain.

Great interface, nice format, generally I like everything about it. This program is absolutely FREE no cost whatsoever, no 30-day trial. I have seen a lot of programs where they say "free" and turns out they're really not.
I love this program because, unlike most "launchers", which launch nothing but worms and spyware, it doesn't contain viruses.
Pretty easy to use, anyone can use it, but just for a little help with some of the more clueless people...
Shortcut=launch program, open recycle bin, etc.
Separator=grey line in between shortuts/folders.
Folder=sub-menu which can contain Shortcuts, Separators and more Folders.
I hope this program helps you launch stuff easier, after all, it is a launcher. =]

This program, like rokalilbit said, does not have help files, but, like him (again), didn't need any. I also don't especially fancy the logo thingy.
