LIKSE is an off-line HTML viewer, with a built-in keyword search engine. It is designed for publishers and authors to distribute their HTML documents, e.g. manuals, web site demo, catalog on floppy or CD to their users. Individual users may use LIKSE to quickly view and search for HTML documents they have collected.The viewer included with LIKSE support HTML 2 and most HTML 3 tags. The search engine supports full-text search and retrieves pages in hypertext format. Boolean operators (AND, OR, PHRASE), are also supported. Results will be listed in hypertext format will the first few lines of the document as a quick summary.LIKSE is also fully customizable, indivdual menu items and buttons can be switched on/off, KIOSK mode is supported. It demands little resources and will run on any machine that has Windows installed. Users no longer have to search manually for the document they want and then wait for a slow browser to load it. LIKSE runs like the wind and at 300KB compressed can even run off a floppy.
