  - Scroll and it works. That simple! - Adding additional classes that aren't initially recognised. That's what makes this app even better. - It always works. On old and new operating systems.

  Do you ever have multiple windows open alongside eachother.. or overlapping.. or one in front of another.. or docked frames in the same parent window? But you use them all... and you want to just view any of those window or frame's hidden contents quick and easy without having to click on it before scrolling? If you're a developer and working with and IDE, this fits your description. Use KatMouse. Take the mouse pointer anywhere on the screen and scroll and see how the hidden data displays as it should. No clicking and activating windows and frames first. Add inknown classes and custom controls by using the built in class spy.

• Ruined Middle Click

  Unfocused windows scrolling works

  Rendered all other functions of middle click unusable

  I found out about this from Lifehacker and made an account JUST to review this. It does what it says, and more. I could no longer middle click to close tabs, programs, or do ANYTHING other than scrolling with the scroll wheel. I uninstalled this program and I recommend anyone else having this problem to download WizMouse. It works without these downsides for me.

  I had problems with multiple application: Firefox 3 and 4 Beta, FeedDemon 4 Beta ... There problems could be resolved by configuring them manually. The problem is that I always forget that the problem could be KatMouse... ;) Now trying Wizmouse.

  simple, free and does exactly what it claims, that is, makes it possible to scroll whichever window you mouse over without having to click to activate it first.

  A must have app, especially for anybody that also uses Mac OS X, where this functionality is integrated into the operating system, and taken for granted until you encounter a machine where 'click to activate' is necessary. I expect Microsoft will catch up eventually and incorporate with functionality into Windows.

  1. Simple to install, no instructions needed. 2. Saves unnecessary clicking to give Windows focus just to scroll down to view information 3. Consistent with Apple systems.

  None yet after two weeks usage.

  Summary

  If you have many overlapping windows and simply like to scroll another window to get some information while typing in another window without actually changing the focus back and forth many times, this is the tool. Surprising simple to install and use, no instructions needed nor wanted. Saves clicks--we all only have a given number of clicks before we pass out! I am told this is how the Apples OS X works with mouse. Why isn't this built into Windows? Perhaps I have done this unknowingly on the Mac platform and have been frustrated in Windows without knowing why. Now I know why, and feel an efficiency improvement has been made! Kudos to Katmouse, not MS.
