KaraFun contains an easy-to-use editor which can import many existing karaoke songs. Even if it's supporting KAR files (midi), it's planned to work with digital files (MP3 for example) and it introduces the new KFN file format. The editor allows to build unique and funny karaoke files.

"BEST free Karaoke Software. Reads Walmart Karaoke CDGs"
Pros: This is clearly THE best free karaoke CDG player available. It is a self-contained, turnkey package with no need for 3rd party plugins. Most importantly, I can play Karaoke CDGs from Walmart directly from my PC CD or USB drive, with no need to rip.
Cons: For a free program, there is absolutely nothing wrong. This program simply outclasses all others.
Summary: Although this program will play commercial CDGs directly, I find that it works even better from karaoke .ZIP files. Make sure you also download audiograbber. I use audiograbber's "CD" function to "grab CDG tracks (Karaoke)" and "grab to .cdg + com... read more >>
