Version: K-Meleon 1.5.3
Pros: Light-weight, original, customizable, safe, and a comfortable alternative browser.
Cons: Lacks power, security, and features of the heavy-weight browsers.
Summary: I'm glad to see another web browser that's not trying to emulate Internet Explorer. Chameleon is a very comfortable browser to use, light on resources, and like other original browsers, has some unique features.

Version: K-Meleon 1.5.3
Pros: I've tried almost every browser for windows and I like this the best. It is more secure and faster than my firefox. Also on popupcheck.com it passes all of the tests except it gets 60/100 for how many pop ups it can block. Maxthon gets 100 but sucks.
Cons: It loads google searches a little slowly.
Summary: I love this browser, it's the most secure and close to the fastest. Very good and doesn't crash or freeze. I have heard it is basically firefox but my firefox crashed a lot and got lots of pop ups. This is much better.

"Best screen display for reading text"
Pros: Better screen display than IE or FF. You can enlarge web pages more, without the text going outside the limits of your screen. Columns of text expand mostly vertically rather than horizontally, more so than FF (and totally unlike IE or Opera).
Cons: Lacks some of FF's features, especially auto-fill for forms. A few videos won't run and I have to go to FF or IE. Can't share Bookmarks with FF since FF went to another file format for its Bookmarks; KM still uses HTML like earlier Mozilla versions.
Summary: The display makes it my default browser, although for some web pages the standard enlargement format of FF or IE is better. It's a lot like FF, as it's a Mozilla variant. It's about as fast as FF and it's stable. Besides the display, security featur... read more >>

"As a browser this is the one I prefer year after year."
Pros: CSS ad-blocking, I don't know exactly why, but this blocks ads much better than Firefox or Explorer. I like to read newspapers online and many of them have enough ads to choke a rhino, and this is the only one, upon comparison, that gets the most.
Cons: It is slower and sometimes hesitates and has to be prompted. For some this might be a hindrance, but because of the ad-blocking and the easy layout and the Preferences set up, I overlook this. The set up requires some attention, but they all do.
Summary: Sometimes the slowness or the hesitation that requires a second prompting gets on my nerves, but everytime I have changed to another browser I have been sorry and come back to K-Meleon. I am sick of ad popups, flash popups etc. and although the othe... read more >>

Version: K-Meleon 1.5.3
Pros: A great browser, fast, smaller footprint than others, minimal interface
Cons: Little hand-holding, can be more complicated to skin and modify than others (Opera, Firefox, etc.); less frequent updates (but it doesn't seem to need them)
Summary: you will like it, it is fast...
