"The Best Job Search Investment I Made!"

JobTabs has been a huge help in my job search. The customer service has also been excellent and it is that service which prompted me to write this review. These guys solved a nasty problem with my installation. It turned out that my anti-virus program was deleting one of the files used to run JobTabs. After temporarily disabling the anti-virus program, JobTabs installed perfectly and I was able to start my anti-virus program again. I am very appreciative, because the JobTabs guys did all the work themselves over the internet which was really great. They also pointed out a lot of superfluous programs I had running. Removing them did a lot to free up my computer memory.
I also wanted to mention that they are very responsive. I made some recommendations on some things I would like to see added and they had them coded and delivered in a matter of weeks. That is unusual for ANY company!Cons

Summary
I was hired for a consulting position and I start on Monday! JobTabs really helped keep me organized during my search. I will continue using it on a limited basis to keep up with contacts and future job opportunities and will recommend it to others who find themselves looking for a job.

I started using JobTabs 6-7 years ago and have only had need of its services for the first three months after that. JobTabs helped me move right into a new job in that short time. By just shaving one week from my job search, JobTabs would have paid for itself many times. In this economy, I can see it saving someone far more than that.
In the years since I last used it, JobTabs has evidently been busy--the functionality now in this app actually makes the digital part of a job search pleasant (well, almost).
My customer service story: I am now reentering the consulting arena, and again have need of JobTabs. When I told the people at JobTabs that I could not locate my license of long ago so needed to buy a new one, they declined my offer and gave me a free upgrade!Cons

Save jobs from the web. I always lose paper and no filing system I have ever created on my harddrive has ever really helped me find something, so why not just save them to JobTabs?
Many, many, many, many resumes. This is the difference between looking for a job and getting a job! : )
Cover letter builder. I already know what I am going to say and I already typed in my contact information so why would I want to type it in again? (My personal favorite feature I have found in JobTabs.)

Wish it had a signature feature. Tech support tells me it is in the pipeline, but I already have a job. : ) Maybe when I am looking for a job next time it will be there. : O
Wish it had a beter way to enter contacts. You have to enter the company first and then add the contact to the company. They just need to make a bigger form for all the info!Summary
Kick ass programm all the way around. Have actually been using it for years (Bought it first time I got laid off. The second time, my employer went under. That was 3 or 4 years in between, but still got a free upgrade!) John and Michael have made so many improvements (some of them at my request) that I needed to give them a pat on the back. JobTabs allows you to keep track all your job search and networking activities. Saves time and allows you to be in control when you are looking for work. Eliminates part of the stress of trying to get a job which I greatly appreciated it.
Cons
Can't think of any real 'cons' I seem to mess up when I do activities but not enough to detract from the other good features of this program.

Let's face it - looking for work is tough and highly stressful - often you feel that you have no control. It is said that looking for a job is a job in itself. I am not a programmer - all I know is that JobTabs just makes job hunting so much easier, keeps you organized and gives you back some control. I could go on and on about this little program, but the best thing is to just give it a try - I doubt if you will be disappointed. So far everyone who has tried JobTabs on my recommendation has been extremely pleased - I like that...
