You have a song idea and want to capture it by recording a few tracks of guitar, keyboard and vocals--but you don't want to get bogged down with technology--use JamRecorder (instead of ProTools or Cubase) and get quick clean results. Now you can create CD Quality multi-track digital recordings with having to become a Sound Engineer. JamRecorder works with your built-in sound or any sound card. It records with no latency--keeping tracks in perfect sync. Version 2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

i gave it 2 stars because of how fast it downloads but I aswell have not yet received my trial confirmation code. Bottom line i cannot give positive feedback since i havent even tried the software. Looks really simple and fun to use i just wouldnt know if it actually is. Someone help me ive submited multiple emails and nothing. Starting to feel like the other guy here and thinkin its a SCAM.
Easy, Straight Ahead Instant Multi Track Recording

Had none of the trouble the other reviewer had. My code came instantly and unlocked the software. Very simple and straightforward. I had it figured out in about ten minutes. Easy, easy interface. Good sound quality. Instant Live Recording.
Cons
Well, there are no effects. So, you'd have to finish your creation, then feed the .wav file into something else to treat it.
Summary
I own one of the "big" recording software packages and it is very hard to use. If you have a need for quick multitrack recording of live sound, this one is a dream come true. Click, record your guitar. Click record your voice. Click record vocal harmony. In my case, I wanted it to make learning CD's for my jazz vocal quartet. It is so easy to use, that I had finished recording a four part demo of a hymn 20 minutes after I completed the download. 20 Minutes! This included learning the interface, briefly practicing the four parts, and recording them. I even punched in a couple of times to fix mistakes. To punch in, all you do is play to the punch point. Stop play. Indicate to it which track you want to record over, hit play, and start singing or playing. If you have a need to quickly record something in more than one track, and you don't want to have to get a college degree to make that happen. This is it. No, I have no affiliation with the publisher. Never heard of this software before tonight. I'm just excited about finding something I can use. I am really going to enjoy this tool. Highly recommended as a very basic multitrack recording avenue for live sound. So, just be aware that this is very basic functionality. It records. You can set levels on individual tracks after recording them. You can punch in anywhere on any track on any pass. When you are done, it just exports the finished product to a .wav file. Then it's up to you what you do with it then. Hope this was helpful.

click down load and it's downloaded really fast in a zip file. Execute the install file and it walks you through about 3 install screens. hit finish and in a split second it's installed... no errors. try to stat the program and it pops open a screen asking for the activation code. Click on the trial it carries you to their website. It ask you for your email address to send the activation code. I never received the activation code. I've retried it several times. This program is obviously a scam. They are only interested in collecting emal addresses. I'd love to know if anyone has different results...
