This is a front end application to the opensource ASP2PHP. Jaguar Asp2Php can convert ASP files to PHP files with a simple point a click interface. Jaguar Asp2Php has a editor in it, that allows you to open a asp file and edit it, then convert it to php. You can even write a asp file in the editor then convert it to PHP with one ez click of a button.

"Difficult to install (Asp2Php not this GUI) and I found a bug"

Pros
Jaguar GUI for Asp2Php: Simple to use. It's quick and easy to just open up and convert a file or directory of files from ASP to PHP.
Asp2Php (underlying program to this GUI): Does a decent job of converting ASP to PHP, but you will still need to read through all the PHP code and make changes here and there.
All-in-all it gives you a good head start.
Cons
Jaguar GUI for Asp2Php: There is a bug in the "Convert Editor" tab. I click the button to create the .php file and nothing happens. There is no /phpdump/ directory created.

"Doesn't freeze, but doesn't work either"

Summary
The author must have made some improvements, because I didn't experience any endless loops or freezes like others have reported. All files were successfully rendered using the utility. The only problem is, the resulting code is very, very buggy.

Summary
Just like the others said, it starts to work on a file and never finishes. I have a 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 with hyperthreading and 512 MB of memory, and it was using 98% system resources for five minutes and never finished. So I would say it seems to be an incomplete piece of software.

Tried installing a few times thinking it would help; either way, just keeps 'running' and never converts. If this program did work, I think it would be great.

Summary
When i let Jaguar convert a simple file of only 10 lines, it just keeps working on it (100% proc. useability), any doesn't have an output file! It just won't stop.
