Pros
Good quality conversion (i.e., for files 60KB to 160KB compressed to 35KB). The ability to compare original and compressed result at the same time is a plus.

The batch function was problematic for me.
Summary
Probably a good choice for the price for compression but not a good choice for simple, quick out-of-the box batch image processing. Quick Photo Resizer is very simple to use for batch processing.

Pros
This application drastically converts file sizes! Perfect for web designers (or people who wants to share photos online) who wants to create super small files. Photoshop (very limited in converting jpeg files) aint got nothin' on this S*#t! Sooo easy to use! :-)
Cons
my only problem with this app is that you can't compare images on top of each other (best option for landscape pictures)... just side-by-side (portrait). :-(

Pros
Fast setup, and it is capable at doing resizing and optimizations without losing a lot of visual quality. GUI is nice, it has a professional feel to it.
Cons
Perhaps it's a artist-specific term, but I was thrown by "resize" being called "resampling" and had to look in the help section to find out how to resize an image.
