This free, lightweight program quickly reveals IP addresses using a DNS server, though it lacks additional features.
IpDnsResolver's bare-bones interface is easy to use. In essence, the program can display your IP address, and can determine the IP addresses of host/domain names and vice versa, through the DNS. Simply enter either an IP address or site address, and the resolved name is shown in a tiny viewer. The program is also handy for identifying a computer's name in a LAN environment. While its lack of features may be less appealing to the common man, those needing to know the IP addresses of Web sites will find just what they're looking for in this practical application.
