Internet DeadBolt monitors and restricts all Web sites that are not authorized by the administrator, and only allows authorized applications to be used. This will allow you to know if your employees are working or just talking on the phone or to each other and not being productive. With the Internet DeadBolt you can reduce your network and computer assets exposure to viruses and other malicious software, because IDB will not allow your employees to go to download sites without your permission. The IDB also blocks chat, IM interactions, ports, and TCP/IP.

This application immediately blocks access to Web sites and applications unauthorized for use--but keep in mind that all program access is initially banned. With no start/stop function, immediately following installation Internet Deadbolt completely blocks everything on the desktop, including Start menu items. The program's clean interface offers password protection, enabling the system administrator alone to configure its settings. You'll be able to block instant messages and downloads to your PC and specify authorized programs and URLs. Though we like that this program performs its functions well, an option to begin it would be nice. System administrators will certainly be able to keep a handle on frivolous computer activity with this powerful seven-day trial utility.
