Automate and monitor your computer's functions with Intelligent Shutdown, which takes Windows Task Manager to a new level. Using it, you can schedule just about any task, including shutdown, reboot, and hibernate, run at a predetermined time, or on a regular timetable. Intelligent Shutdown also monitors CPU, memory, and network usage. Also handy are Outlook-type reminders with several time options for scheduled tasks. Though the interface is a bit chaotic, it requires only a few keystrokes to navigate, since all of the features have check boxes and drop-down lists. We found stability a slight problem. The memory function caused our test machines to slow to a crawl, but despite that flaw, Intelligent Shutdown will work nicely for intermediate to advanced users who strive for automation.Publisher's description

Version: Intelligent Shutdown 1.25
"Just the program you need to do the job."
Pros: This is exactly what I needed to shutdown my PC after a certain time. It works perfectly. No spyware and adware. No Virus. I have uninstalled many times while reformatting my PC, no problems. When you start the program is asks you to register the product. Nice of the maker of this program to allow full use of this program regardless if you buy it or not. Thank you so much. This program actually saves me some money on electricity.

Version: Intelligent Shutdown 1.25
"This is not freeware! Why Not?"
Pros: The program seems very functional with lots of features and should do the job. It has lots of options such as countdown to shutdown, idle for a specified time then shutdown, running once, and lots of others. It allows you to select a particular option such as shutdown, restart standby, hibernate logoff (the list is endless). Recommended.
Cons: The reason this is not freeware is because it displays a message every time the program starts which asks you to enter a license key. If you don't nothing will happen, just click continue each time. It's just a little bit of "nagware".

Version: Intelligent Shutdown 1.25
"Great product, a little hard to figure out all features"
Pros: I don't have to get up at 4am to turn off my computer. I have free usage from 11pm to 4am and used to have to get up at 4 to turn off computer.
Cons: I think there is a way to set the time for turning on and off, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Just use the "countdown" feature.
Summary: Love being able to set it and forget it. Wish there was a detailed tutorial or explanation of how it worked.
