After reading some of the tutorials in how to make icons I was expecting it to be a LOT more work... then along comes this utility and now making icons is a BREEZE and it seems to accept all the files I need to throw at it...well done!! And it's so easy to create icons with this little app. Create an image file in whatever format, drag it onto the img2icns icon, and, voila, you have an icon. Then just copy-and-paste it onto whatever file you want to use the icon for.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I am a icon developer but all my icons are in png format. The iconbuilder from iconfactory cost a lot and hard to use. My icons are all free LGPL and I cannot afford that software. This img2icns works great. Fast, and very good quality. Now I can use the icons I created on my mac now. Just need a universal icon changer.
