Despite its narrow focus, this utility offers a quick way to obtain information about your PC's public and local IP addresses. Though IP Discoverer's interface is rather bland, the tiny application sits in your system tray for convenient, one-click access. The program displays the current IP address, the hostname, the last IP changes, and the last IP request. You can schedule the app to update your IP address at regular intervals, and you can choose to receive customized e-mail notifications. Although this bare-bones utility doesn't really do anything beyond its main job, the fact that it's totally free makes it a worthy download for anyone who needs basic IP information.

Pros
It gives you both ip's addresses, public and private, and not just one of them. Besides, it can be resident on the Task bar and you can have the fact at a sight.
