Used HourGuard Time Sheet Plus for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Keeping track of the time spent on different projects can be the bane of the freelancer's existence. HourGuard Time Sheet is a great option for writers, designers, attorneys, consultants, and other people who bill by the hour to both track their time and create invoices.
The program's interface is plain and intuitive. A few buttons across the top give you access to the program's major features. A pane on the left displays a list of tasks that you have created. To track your time, simply click the task you're about to start on and then click the button to start timing. You can easily stop and start the timer for each task as many times as you need to. We liked that HourGuard Time Sheet lets you create base tasks and subtasks, making it easy to record what you're working on in detail. The program even has an intelligent tracking feature that stops the timer when it detects that you're no longer working, ensuring that you don't waste time making corrections after realizing that you've left the meter running. It's also easy to create a professional-looking time sheet and then print, save, or e-mail it. We found HourGuard Time Sheet quite easy to use, but it comes with an HTML Help file that does a thorough job of explaining the program's features. Overall, we think that HourGuard is among the better time-tracking programs that we've seen.
