A good choice for those just entering the world of Web development, HotDog Page Wiz teaches basic HTML while providing a flexible interface that can change as skills improve. For total novices, an all-inclusive wizard can help from basic page design to FTP uploading. A second interface style makes use of a WYSIWYG interface while exposing key HTML attributes. Finally, a straight-laced HTML editor is more appropriate for seasoned developers. Unfortunately, the three-tools-in-one approach creates interface clutter, which can be overwhelming at first glance. The HTML editor also can easily be outgrown. Although some other HTML editors cost more, they also offer a lot more bang for the buck in terms of features and raw coding power. But HotDog PageWiz's educational properties and affordable price make it a strong pick for amateurs who are eager to learn HTML.Publisher's description

"BUGGY! Very POOR - would not run properly."
Cons: After selecting "I want to try" - which requires email registration - the Splash screen takes over a MINUTE before the program starts. Once the program starts, it locks up if you select FILE->OPEN. It will not shut down, you must END TASK. Upon restart it states "...because of a driver conflict. (Video driver conflicts are the most common conflicts.)" Pardon me! This is a web page editor. A STATIC PAGE EDITING UTILITY. What DRIVERS could it possibly need? This is a type of issue I haven't seen since the Windows 98 days. If my Windows XP SP2 / 3Ghz AMD / 2Gb Ram / Nvidia 6200 video machine can't run, then what would it take? Obviously poorly written software.

Pros: Very easy to use with step by step guidance during form layout and web page design.
Cons: Should have support for foreign language like Thai and Arabic. Switching between design page and view page and all your fonts gets mess up.
