Pros
None...this downloads 2 browser hijackers to your computer plus something called Wajam and Coupon Companion. If you want to spend a couple hours figuring out how to remove these (just deleting the programs in Program Files doesn't do it), then by all means, download this.
Cons
This is nothing but spyware.

I completed all the instructions and re-entered the app id. i even downloaded SDK source engine ,2006, 2007. but whenever i try to access the game it says "could not load library client". I have no idea what i did wrong and i would very much like to play the game.

1. Install Steam & make account: store.steampowered.com/about/
Also install Source SDK Base 2007. You may need it for some multiplayer servers.
2. In Steam go to View>Tools & install Source SDK Base 2006.
3. Go to Steam>Exit to exit Steam. Install Gmod 9.04
4. Open Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gmod9\gameinfo.txt & change SteamAppId 220 to 215 & save. Load Steam, go to View>Games List and click Gmod to play.
5. Many free Gmod addons at freesteam.org.

Very fun free singleplayer and multiplayer sandbox game, with more re-playability than even the original Counter Strike Soure or HL2 games.
Cons
A little complicated to install and get running. See directions below.
Summary
1. Download and install Steam and create a Steam account:
Something was changed and SDK Base 2007 no longer works. Install SDK Base 2006 instead, which is App ID 215.

2. Load Steam and go to View>Tools and double click Source SDK Base 2007 to download and install.
3. Double click Source SDK Base 2007 to load. Run the Video Stress Test, exit at any time.
4. Download and install Half-Life 2 Garry's Mod

5. Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gmod9. Open the gameinfo.txt file and change 220 to 218 (218 is the APP ID of Source SDK Base 2007). Save the file.
6. In Steam, go to View>Games List and double click Garry's Mod 9 to run.
