  Installing was a pain. Left files all over my computer, ala it's zip file Left way too much code.

  I wish I could think of a good thing to say, but, if left crap all over my computer, didn't install where I wanted it to, and once installed, didn't remove code. All in all, a complete waste of time. If you have an HTML editor, with a preview window, just copy and paste from "Preview," and be done with it. Don't waste your time with this one!

  Truth is, I only used the trial version. I was looking for a product to convert multiple HTML pages to text, but unfortunately, the trial version doesn't permit it. As a rule I won't buy software unless I can test the features I need, so I can't really endorse it.

  Summary

  HTML Stripper (and it's advanced sister app, WebtoData) are both very capable, powerful code strippers that go a few steps further and actually format a text document for placement elsewhere, such as Microsoft Word, a database, or just a text editor. Well worth it.
